Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius (390 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 5 minutes.
  • Slice the halloumi cheese into approximately 1/2-inch thick pieces.
  • Brush both sides of each cheese slice with olive oil (if desired).
  • Sprinkle the sliced halloumi with paprika and black pepper.

Cooking

  • Arrange the seasoned halloumi slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook the halloumi for about 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Carefully remove the halloumi from the air fryer and let it cool for a minute before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.

Notes

For the best results, choose high-quality halloumi. You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days and reheat in the air fryer.
