Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

For the Spice Mix

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Provides a kick.
  • to taste salt and pepper Enhances all the flavors.

For the Garlic Honey Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Forms the base of the sauce.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Aromatic and savory.
  • 1/4 cup honey Balances out the spice perfectly.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshens and brightens the dish.

For Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped Adds a pop of color and freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a spice blend.
  • Place the salmon cubes in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the salmon and toss again.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon cubes in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked through.
  • Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the honey and lemon juice, allowing it to thicken slightly for about a minute.
  • Return the salmon to the skillet, coating each piece with the sauce. Warm it through for an additional minute.

Serving

  • Plate the Blackened Salmon Bites beautifully, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Consider marinating the salmon in the spice mix for 30 minutes before cooking to intensify the flavor. You can increase the amount of cayenne pepper for more heat or add a dash of hot sauce to the garlic honey sauce.
