Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted unsalted butter. Mix thoroughly until all crumbs are evenly coated.
  • Firmly press the mixture into the base of a 23×23 cm (9×9 in) baking dish to form an even crust.
  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Once done, remove it from the oven and set aside to cool completely.

Cream Cheese Layer

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in half of the whipped topping until fully incorporated. Evenly spread this cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.

Coconut Layer

  • In a separate mixing bowl, stir together the coconut cream, shredded coconut, and vanilla extract until well-mixed.
  • Spread this deliciously tropical coconut mixture over the cream cheese layer.

Whipped Cream Layer

  • In a clean bowl, whip the heavy cream with granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in the remaining whipped topping until the mixture is homogeneous. Spread this fluffy topping layer over the coconut layer.

Chill

  • Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serve

  • Before serving, optionally garnish with extra shredded coconut for a delightful finishing touch. Portion and serve the dessert chilled.
