Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F (163 degrees C).
  • Rinse the turkey breast under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, sage, salt, and pepper. Generously apply this mixture all over the turkey breast.
  • Place the seasoned turkey breast in a roasting pan, breast side up, and pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.

Cooking

  • Roast the turkey for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), using a meat thermometer.
  • Halfway through roasting, baste the turkey with the pan juices.

Serving

  • Remove the turkey from the oven and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  • Slice the turkey and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Consider brining the turkey breast overnight before cooking. For crispy skin, increase the oven temperature to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for the last 15-20 minutes.
