  • 8 ounces bowtie pasta Cooked until al dente.
  • 1 pound ground beef Fresh ground beef enhances flavor.

Sauce Components

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Brings all ingredients together.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Creates an aromatic base.
  • Salt and pepper Added to taste.

Garnish

  • ¼ cup chopped parsley Adds freshness.
  • Grated Parmesan cheese Optional topping.

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of cooking water.

Preparing the Beef

  • Heat a tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up into smaller pieces, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden.

Combining Ingredients

  • Return the cooked beef to the skillet and add the drained bowtie pasta. Toss together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.

Serving

  • Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve hot. Top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

To elevate flavors, add a splash of lemon juice before serving. Try different meats or add red pepper flakes for heat. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
