Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • If the fish fillets are frozen, let them defrost until they reach room temperature.
  • Blot any excess moisture with a paper towel.
  • Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the fish fillets.
  • In a small bowl, combine all spices to create a spice blend.
  • Generously sprinkle the spice mixture over the fleshy side of the fish.

Grilling

  • Place the seasoned fillets skin side down on the grill.
  • Grill for about 6 to 8 minutes, until moisture begins to release from the fish.
  • Gently flip the fillets and continue grilling for another 2 minutes until flaky and reaches 140°F.
  • Remove the fillets from the grill and serve immediately with garnishes.

Notes

Ensure grill grates are clean and well-oiled. Marinate the fillets for an hour for enhanced flavor. Adjust spice measurements to your taste, especially the cayenne.
