Wrap filling

  • 2-3 large romaine lettuce leaves, washed and chopped Provides a fresh crunch; adjust based on preference.
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing Creamy and flavorful, it binds the ingredients beautifully.
  • 4 large tortilla wraps Use flour or whole wheat based on preference.
  • to taste Grated Parmesan cheese Optional for added flavor; use freshly grated if possible.
  • to taste Croutons Optional for crunch; a delightful texture contrast.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Thaw the shrimp if frozen and pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  • In a bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated and let them marinate for about 10-15 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the seasoned shrimp to the hot grill and grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn opaque and have grill marks.

Assembly

  • Warm the tortillas slightly in a dry pan to make them more pliable.
  • Lay down the chopped romaine lettuce on each tortilla, followed by the grilled shrimp and drizzle with Caesar dressing.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and add croutons for added texture.

Serving

  • Roll up each tortilla tightly, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately with extra dressing or a side of fresh fruit.

Notes

For added flavor, combine with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the shrimp. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or cucumbers for extra crunch.
