Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, take the trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts and add in the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together.
  • Spread the Brussels sprouts into a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.

Roasting

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the Brussels sprouts for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • While the sprouts roast, whisk together the honey, Sriracha, and lemon juice (if using) in a small bowl.
  • Once the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy, drizzle the honey Sriracha sauce over them while they are still hot and toss gently.

Serving

  • Transfer the roasted Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro or sliced green onions, if desired.
