  • 1 cup aromatic ranch seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or mozzarella) for gooey texture
  • 1/2 cup creamy sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil to enhance flavors

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Rinse the chicken thighs under cool water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a bowl, mix the ranch seasoning with the olive oil to create a paste.
  • Rub this mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the sour cream and half of the shredded cheese.
  • Spread this creamy mixture over the seasoned chicken thighs.

Baking

  • Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish with space between each.
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • For extra crispy skin, switch to broil for the last 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  • Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Consider adding fresh herbs like parsley or chives before serving. For extra crunch, mix pork rinds into the cheese topping.
