Dressing

Preparation

  • Wash the peaches thoroughly under cold water. Remove the pits and slice them into wedges.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens and thinly sliced red onion, tossing gently.
  • Add the sliced peaches to the salad bowl.
  • Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and sliced almonds over the salad.

Dressing and Serving

  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad.
  • Gently toss the salad using tongs.
  • Transfer the salad to a serving platter or individual plates.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Notes

For best flavor, toast the almonds in a dry skillet until golden. Keep the dressing separate until serving for freshness.
