Dough and Coating

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter Adds richness and golden-brown finish.
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough Can be swapped with crescent roll or pizza dough.

Filling

  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese Main cheese; can substitute with cheddar or provolone.
  • ½ cup mini pepperoni slices Use turkey pepperoni for a healthier option.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds aromatic flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning A blend of herbs enhancing the taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Open the refrigerated biscuit dough, separate and flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch circle.
  • Place a tablespoon of mozzarella cheese, a few mini pepperoni slices, and a pinch of garlic powder and Italian seasoning in the center of each biscuit.
  • Fold the biscuit edges around the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
  • Arrange the sealed bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet, and brush the tops with melted butter.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving warm.

Notes

Serve with marinara sauce for dipping. Making a healthier version with whole wheat dough or vegetable fillings is encouraged. Ensure a tight seal to prevent cheese leakage.
