Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs These form the crispy, buttery crust.
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted Adds richness and binds the crust together.

For the filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened The heart of the cheesecake, for a smooth texture.
  • 2/3 cups granulated sugar Sweetens the cream cheese filling.
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract Adds aromatic essence.
  • 8 oz whipped topping Gives lightness to the filling.

For the topping

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced Adds a fresh taste and color.
  • to taste strawberry sauce Optional for drizzling.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix thoroughly and press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow it to cool completely.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  • Pour the filling over the cooled crust, smoothing the top.
  • Cover the cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Once set, top with sliced strawberries and drizzle with optional strawberry sauce.

Notes

For intense strawberry flavor, consider adding a layer of strawberry puree beneath the cheesecake filling. Alternatively, use thawed frozen strawberries that are well-drained.
