Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy and smooth, approximately 2 minutes at medium speed.
  • Add the marshmallow creme to the butter and continue to beat until light and fluffy, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Mix in the strawberry preserves and pure vanilla extract until fully combined, achieving a beautiful pink color.
  • Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar, starting with half a cup at a time. Mix on low speed to prevent a sugar cloud, then increase speed until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add a pinch of salt and whip for an additional 30 seconds.

Serving and Storage

  • Use the frosting to frost cakes, cupcakes, or cookies, or as a dip for fresh fruits.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days; re-whip before use.

Notes

Make sure butter is at room temperature for best blending. Sift powdered sugar for a smooth finish. Adjust salt and sweetness to taste during mixing.
